OVERVIEW

Thanks for considering Hotbed Media.

Hotbed will work with you to create a documentary that highlights the good things about living in San Carlos, California.  This story will be told through interviews with Bob Bredel and other key stakeholders supported by footage of San Carlos. Hotbed will work to illicit authentic and natural responses from the interview subjects.

A Hotbed director will work with you to craft the message and will see the production through to finish. Hotbed creates documentaries with an eye for quality and that are informative yet stylistically interesting to watch. The three priorities we have while producing documentaries are content, picture and sound. We work to capture the most compelling content by preparing with for the interviews and developing the appropriate questions and building a repoire with the subjects. We use our photographic eye to make the best of the locations we are asked to shoot in. We make good sound a priority. People walk out of movies for bad sound before bad picture. We love really rich, good sound.

We will shoot DVCPRO HD format that looks great on the web. If you plan on showing the documentary on a DVD, this format works great, too. We've tested the footage on a 52" 1080p plasma screen and it looks fantastic. The format also doesn't shoot to film or tape but a "card." The all-digital work flow saves time by allowing us edit immediately.
